James Fullerton
James Fullerton came to the United Kingdom in 1951 from a bright and sunny Jamaica where he had been used to eating fresh Caribbean cuisine daily. Caribbean descendants, like James, quickly began to miss familiar food. Upon arrival to UK, he struggled to find the ingredients to make the dishes that he had become accustomed to back home in Jamaica. In the mid 1950's, it was near impossible to import Caribbean ingredients needed to make up traditional meals. They always had great difficulty finding the ingredients for any dish in its entirety and so they had to do with what was available.
Today, we are able to access ingredients with ease and a full variety of Caribbean foods are enjoyed all over the globe. Fullerton's Crisps are made in honour of James Fullerton to bring you the "taste of home" that he craved, in a savoury snack. We want you to taste that special feeling in each crisp.
